What Goderich glass goes through
Goderich sits high on the bluffs, and the wind comes straight off the lake with nothing to slow it down. It carries spray and fine grit onto the glass, and after a storm the lake side of a home can look dull in a day. Closer to the harbour, dust from the port and the salt mine settles on sills and frames, and the gulls along the waterfront leave their mark on anything facing the water.
